The SERC Summer league round 2 kicks off this Wednesday evening 12th June. Sign on starts at Hayes Transport Scarnagh at 6.15 with the race starting at 7pm sharp. Route is the usual on the N11 between the Kish and Berry farm roundabouts.Cycling Ireland licence and sign up to Wexford Cycling Marshal Plan essential. France Trip 2019

With the clubs trip to France not too far away there will be a weekly spin starting this evening (Thur 23rd May) and every Thursday there after at 6pm leaving from Fernhill plaza. Because of the nature of the trip, unfortunately there will be some hills involved, but as the saying goes “no pain, no gain”. Whether you’re on the trip or not all are welcome to join. Slaney League Races

Slaney League Races Due to the continuing roadworks on the Davidstown circuit and with rider safety in mind, the Slaney CC A4, Over 50 and Novice League races have been transferred to the old Crossabeg circuit previously used by the club in the past. The first round of the Slaney League will begin this Wednesday, 24th April. The circuit is a little over 4km with the Novice race being 5 laps and the Over 50 and A4 race both being 8 laps. Wellington TT League Round 3

Competitors took on the tough Ballycoog hill climb for round three of the Wellington TT league on Saturday last, league leader Joe Sheehy added eight points to his tally to bring his overall total to 30points which secures top spot on the podium for the Bray Wheeler cyclist with still one round remaining. South East Road Club Wellington TT League Round 2

Round two of the Wellington league hosted by the Southeast Road Club saw improved weather conditions on Saturday last. The dry weather conditions helped to bring twenty two competitors to the start line to take the 15.5Km TT route. While it remained dry, wind conditions were a factor especially on the return leg. After round two Bray wheelers maintain their grip on  the Wellington TT league. The SERC 2019 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE will take place on Sunday the 7th of April starting and finishing at the Arklow Rock Parnells GAA club, Emoclew road, Arklow, County Wicklow.The SERC 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE is a great warm-up for the Wicklow 200 with spectacular views as you cross two of Wicklow’s best known climbs, Slieve Mann and Shay Elliott, plus a few more !!. Brittas Bay Blitz

Both Derrick and Garrett continued their build towards Ironman Florida in November with a third and fourth placing respectively at the Sporting Proud Brittas Bay Triathlon. This was an olympic distance tri with a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run. Although much shorter than the Ironman distance it is still a great training session. Thankfully the weather held up and the swim went ahead, 2 of the previous 3 years the swim has had to be cancelled.
