tour report – 27 sept. 2009
Another fine autumnal sunday morning brought out a large group of 22 cyclists for our regular Sunday spin/tour/torture session (delete as appropriate depending on fitness levels). The group comprised 12 seniors and 10 underage riders with Mick and Jason joining the underage group.

County Road Race Championships
Barrow Wheelers have announced the route for this years County Road Race Championships, which will be held on Sunday 27th September 09 near Terrerath on an undulating 21km route taking in Horeswood, Campile and Dunmain villages. Race headquarters is at Terrerath Community hall just 10km outside New Ross.

Brittas Bay Blitz
Both Derrick and Garrett continued their build towards Ironman Florida in November with a third and fourth placing respectively at the Sporting Proud Brittas Bay Triathlon. This was an olympic distance tri with a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run.
